Music Transcription
In music, transcription can mean notating a piece or a sound which was previously unwritten, as, for example, an improvised jazz solo. But it also means rewriting a piece of music, either solo or ensemble, for another instrument or other instruments than which it was originally intended. Transcription in this sense is sometimes called arrangement, although strictly speaking transcriptions are faithful adaptations, whereas arrangements change significant aspects of the original piece.
AmberScore musicians are educated to provide both - listen to your music and accurately transcribe any instrument present in your selected music and create professional sheet music, lead sheets, tablatures or chord charts, as well as create arrangements to another instrument or group of instruments. We work with all types of audio formats (CD, cassette, MP3, WMA, WAV etc.).
